@houseplusplant: 👇 TIPS FOR PESTS 👇 -correctly identify the pest you need to treat -mealies: treat with rubbing alcohol on a qtip, remove as many as you can, then spray the plant down with the rubbing alcohol, keep out of sunlight until dry and repeat weekly as needed -spider mites: increase humidity near plants, wipe down with Leaf Wellness (link in bio) then spray entire plant with insecticidal soap weekly for a month -thrips: remove any you see, spray entire plant with insecticidal soap weekly as needed until you no longer see damage to new growth -aphids: dunk entire plant in water to remove as many as possible, spray with insecticidal soap weekly for a month, repeat as necessary It’s also SO helpful to apply a systemic granules to all your plants. It is a pesticide that the plant takes up via the roots to make the whole plant toxic to pests. Game-changer! All products I use can be found in my bio in my Amazon storefront.
