It wasn’t until therapy that I realized what self-love was and how to start practicing it for myself (and not basing it off of what people said self-love should look like for me) This is why we work so hard to connect Black men with Black therapists in Black Man Safe Haven because that session really changed my outlook and the relationship I have with myself.
