good way to blow the fuse in the meter if the draw is more than 10amps. use a test light, kojack.

try using a thermal camera. let car go to rest with the fuse panels exposed. use the camera and simply look for the glowing fuse

you do NOT want to start on the mA setting as it is possible that you are drawing way more current then what you meter is fused for and blow the fuse.

Maybe not start with the meter in-line right away… I was always told you don’t wanna jeopardize an expensive meter of the draw is too much

Before you do this you need to check the Voltage while the car is running to make sure the alternator is charging
