🧮 Macros per 1 serving: Calories: 476 kcal Protein: 26 grams 🍽️ 19 Pieces - 4 Servings 🥩Ingredients: 600 g firm tofu (Momen) 19 thinly slices of pork belly Sauce: 3 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp mirin 3 tbsp sake 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp brown sugar Optional: Sesame seeds (sprinkle) 📋 Instructions: * Slice the tofu in half. Then press out the excess water by using two cutting board and a heavy object on top. I used a kettle with water. Let it sit for an hour and you’ll see how much water comes out of the tofu. * Slice the tofu to thirds and it ready to be wrapped with the pork. * Place the tofu two inches below the top of the pork, start wrapping with the top part. Then tuck the side to cover the entire tofu. Just like that. * Season with black pepper and salt. Sprinkle with some potato starch. Wrap it and chill until you’re ready to cook. * In a bowl add your soy sauce, mirin, sake, black pepper, and sugar. Set aside. * Make sure your non-stick pan is hot without any oil as the pork will release its own oil later. While that’s cooking, Remove the excess fat and add the sauce. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Make sure to turn each block half way. And she’s ready to serve!
