Have the exact same washer. For some reason even after cleaning it always leaves a sandy material in the glasses only. No clue where it comes from.

I clean out the screens every fourth run or so. beyond that I have never done any of this and have had dishwashers last 15-20 years with no problems

Dumb question, is the filter supposed to have standing water in it or does this mean the line is clogged? Never seen this before on other houses.
