You should do a step by step process from how to strip a car, all the way to finish paint . Detailing start to finish grits for each step and # coats.

I mean I put some etch over some small areas of body filler I guess well see how it gose. this whole primer n paint stuff is overwhelming

I keep a Can of it for cut throughs only but always seal over it. It’s really only useful for quick stuff like that.

Barely spray only the bare metal before 2k. Light coat. Use epoxy for correct repair

When do you use filler then ? If the etch is to go over bare metal (no filler) and then filler can’t go over it , when can u put filler on ?

I stripped my 71 Camaro to bare metal and covered it in. Rust-Oleum Rust reformer. How do I know what type of prime it is. Should it all be sanded off

Working at cheap body shops I got shown to use etch in many wrongs ways but I’ve learned how shit it is, only 2k and epoxy now

What about going over chrome, I was told use a see through 1 coat etch primer over the chrome then follow it with urethane primer then seal if needed
