looks like you do great work but for the price (i assume at least 1k in labor) why not just buy new heads? cheaper and flow better

Install the best valve springs. These motors are notorious for breaking them.

My machinist did my 454 same thing on valve seal but he only replaced a couple guides. I got $3800 in a motor that smokes on start up😂

396 one of the best motor of all time stg it made 50 more hp than Chevy said bc they would have to pay a fee if it made more than 450hp
