skin prep / care is everything. exfoliate !!!!! depending on your skin type 1-3 times a week.

There is no ONE “primer” for this issue , it can be that your skin prep/primer doesn’t match your foundation’s base (water/oil/silicone base) , or your foundation doesn’t handle sebum at all or -

You need to exfoliate and moisturize! Especially before makeup use a mousturizing primer and let it sit for a little before makeup. Also less makeup

Esthetician here! I would exfoliate more, moisturize more, and don’t mix water based primer with silicone based foundation, and vise versa

Skip the primer that’s usually the problem. Good skin prep and exfoliating helps a ton! I use a liquid exfoliant (ordinary glycolic acid) with an exfoliating cotton pad

keep in mind, if you use a primer that is water based, your foundation must also be water based. or cakey forms.
