So it’s been 2.5 months since I started playing with the LABS 006, and I wanted to give ya’ll an updated review of my thoughts on the paddle. By now, you’ve probably seen a lot of pros like Parris Todd, Pesa Teoni, transition to this paddle. Without a question, this is super SOLID S-tier paddle. The real question at play is if it is worth the price tag? So here’s what I noticed after two months of heavy play (and I’ve dropped it into the lake multiple times lol), the paddle still gets incredible spin. In my first review, I got a 8.7 oz paddle which was WAY too heavy. After they sent me this one, coming in at 8.4 oz, it plays much differently and way easier to control. Plus I’ve modified my paddle a bit and it’s currently my favorite set up I’ve tried. So back to the question: is it worth it? In my opinion, while you can buy other similar paddles at cheaper costs, you’re not going to get a 2 year warranty with Selkirk’s reputable customer service. Every time I’ve reached out to Selkirk’s customer service, they sent me a brand new paddle each time and it was such a simple process. To me, knowing that I’m covered for the next 2 years gives me a huge peace of mind that’s totally worth the price tag. Especially since I’m playing everyday. So TLDR; I think it’s an investment for sure, but well worth it. At the very least, I think it’s worth trying it out FOR FREE. There’s a generous 30 day return window. Anyways, for more of my thoughts and my full review, I have a 8 minute version on YT. — 👉 follow @davispickleball for daily tips, drills and more . . . . . #pickleballislife #pickleball #pickleballtips #pickleballaddiction #davispickleball #selkirksport #wearepickleball #selkirklabs
