@dr.katie.h: What age was your baby when they rolled? Baby Alexander has previously rolled from tummy to back but this is the first time he has consistently been rolling from back to tummy also 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #rolling #babymilestones #developmentalmilestones #babyboy #baby #drkatie #drkatieandbabyalexander #rollingrollingrolling #parenting #parentingtips #educationforparents

Nia Horton :
And what do I do when she’s crawling at 5 months old because I was not mentally prepared for this 😳

They should be taken out of swaddle (both arms) at first SIGNS of rolling not first roll! They can do their first roll in their sleep and suffocate

My baby started rolling from back to belly at 3.5 months. Now I don’t know to put him to sleep, he is constantly rolling

What if they can’t roll back over again though? Doesn’t that mean they could suffocate still?

Is it ok to leave them on their tummy when they roll if I know they can’t roll tummy to back yet? So they can’t get on their back and are “stuck”?

I recommend getting a cot cover thing for around the sides. My bubs was rolling at 2 months but kept on getting legs stuck in the gaps between bars

Genuine question I've never understood why it isn't safe to put them down on their belly (once rolling) but it IS safe to leave them if they roll?

My three month old started rolling from back to side/stomach about a week ago. Luckily he was never into swaddles so that’s good. But now all he 1/2

Do you always leave the same arm out, or do you switch which one?

Ruby my now 4 month old rolled at 3.5 months back to tummy. Luckily she hated swaddling so has always been in a sleeping bag.

My baby roll all the time back to tummy and falls asleep but she is unable to roll back, is it still safe to let her sleep like that?

Do you have any specific activities or ideas for encouraging rolling back to tummy. My just 6 month old can not yet ☺️💕

My problem is that since he started rolling to his tummy (this week!) he does it in his sleep and wakes himself up! Help! His sleeps are so disrupted

Are we swaddling now?! That’s new, when I had mine, we weren’t told to swaddle, they just had the sleeping bags 🤷♀️

mine rolled from his back to side at 15 weeks, I wasn't ready to stop swaddling 😭but I'm guessing it @won't take much for him to get onto his belly

Question for all new mums: How do you even leave the room to let baby sleep? 😂 I’d be to scared to not have eyes on 24/7 and arms reach

My daughter was 13 weeks old but I highly blame her reflux as she hated being on her back and constantly tried to roll over from birth 😅
