@adventure_jack: ⛏️💎 Another misidentified Diamond has finally been registered! David has been visiting the Crater of Diamonds State Park seven times now and was unfortunately told twice that this was not a Diamond. I was able to get it registered while registering one of my other Diamonds. I don't believe I encountered the employees David had, but don't blame those employees for their lack of knowledge with identifying Diamonds. I was once informed by a park employee the only training they had was seeing a diamond in a gem box, never actually out of the case. A Gem box does not show a Diamond's luster which is similar to gold or silver. Park staff should be shown various Diamonds of shapes, colors, qualities, and be able to actually handle them too in a controlled environment.
