I do that with onions & peppers. Chop (or mince) & freeze flat. When frozen, break up so it's lose. Use any time. Real time saver.

I do this! doing it for years. I got reusable vac sealing bags from Amazon tho to help with the plastic waste. But I do still use disposable sometimes
