@kitty._.cosplay: Ngl Social media is so scary. The more i use filters the more difficult becomes posting or even feeling pretty without them. And also seeing other beautiful people on here, on instagram or on whatever playform you use and then feeling like you need to look like them to be pretty or whatever is just so toxic and unhealthy. I think it also has to do with our screentime. Nowadays almost everyone uses social media for hours without even realizing how damaging it can be, me included. Thousands of unreachable beauty standarts are being thrown at us and i can only speak as a woman and how i feel so non women dont come at me for focusing on women thanks. And when i speak about women i dont mean everyone if youre a woman and dont feel like that good for you. But men taught me that women are only desirable when theyre beautiful. They arent humans. The only thing theyre supposed to do is sit still and be pretty (which is absolute bullshit). So i feel like it can really affect women who already struggeled with their self image AND then they see thousand women on social media who are “more beautiful” then they are.
