PAS secara rasmi bercerai dengan BERSATU. Keputusan tu dibuat selepas satu mesyuarat khas oleh parti itu susulan krisis dalaman dan desakan akar umbi melibatkan kedua-dua parti. Kalau nak diikutkan, BERSATU lah yang menjadi funder kepada PAS dalam PRU lepas tapi tetap dikhianati oleh PAS sendiri. Memang betul PAS ada jentera yang lebih besar dari BERSATU tapi dana untuk gerakkan jentera PN sebenarnya datang daripada BERSATU. Jadi PAS kini dianggap anjing yang gigit tangan tuan susulan keputusan Mesyuarat Khas Jawatankuasa Kerja Pas Pusat tersebut. Yang lebih teruk, PAS tidak menolak kemungkinan untuk bekerjasama dengan Hamzah Zainuddin dalam PRU akan datang. Inilah yang terjadi kalau bekerjasama dengan PAS.
