Nail Tech here...most licensed pros do not use UV lights anymore, they are outdated. LED lamps are the standard now. 😊

Ahhh. You were getting gel done. Dip doesn’t use any light! I started doing dip powder on my own after Covid. Years straight. Such a game changer.

They actually have fingerless gloves that block the UV rays if you still want to get your nails done. I think they’re on Amazon.
