My dad spent half of 2020 in a burn ICU for 3rd & 4th degree burns. They used a honey salve for his wound care! Honey is amazing.

I’m also a beekeeper and I don’t think unadulterated honey can go bad at any temp. It only spoils when diluted with water.

As a home health nurse I have always used “medi-honey” aka manuka honey on patients who have any type of wound. (Prescribed by an MD of course 😜)
