Cleaning it is good, BUT if you’ve ever seen the inside of the plumbing/pipes in your house, it looks like that throughout all of the pipes.

No need to replace as long as the washer is good just clean with vinegar. Soak for a few hrs then put back on

You do not need to replace your aerators once a year. Just clear them of debris and soak in vinegar to clear build up.
