This was a issue due to women getting injury’s from their hair getting stuck in machines. Veronica obliged and soon unveiled her new look: the victory roll. It was called this for two reasons. The first was that it made a “V” when seen from the back. Secondly, it promoted choosing the country and “victory” over vanity. To help promote the look, Lake released a hair tutorial for women to follow.
