Yes! I saw a mom who asked an ER to check her son’s BG and he didn’t. She took him back in a few days later. His BG was 1860 upon diagnosis ☹️

My daughter was 6 and blood sugar was only in the 200s as well. Found it through a routine check up

My son on the other hand was diagnosed at 6 as well and we thought he had the flu and we took him to Childrens Hospital. His sugar was over 1300.
