@skysportsfootball: FIFA’s Council has unanimously approved plans for a new annual competition between the champions of its six confederations. The first competition will be held next year and will feature the UEFA Champions League winners playing the winners of the international confederations play-offs. This competition will replace the current seven-team format of the FIFA Club World Cup next year – so the 2023 Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia will be the last seven-team tournament. 🇸🇦 In 2024 there will be the new – as yet unnamed – competition. From 2025, there will be a 32-team Club World Cup every four years and the new annual competition. #fifaworldcup #fifaclubworldcup #realmadrid #championsleague #kavehsolhekol
