Now that my son is 6 we don’t need designated play areas as much as we need space for crafts, homework supplies, books etc. Here are a few ways I’ve maximized storage in his room and hidden things away until they are needed. ✨ Building ceiling to floor built-in closets ✨ Getting a bed that allows for under - the - bed storage ✨ Secretary desk that folds up and provides tons of storage and super functional for homework / crafts ✨ Baskets that make bulky toys appear more intentionally placed ✨ Rolling library cart that can move around allowing more function ✨ Hidden trash bin I’m still having a hard time finding out how/where to display the endless art work that comes home from school.
