@iamvenac: Here’s a recap of my train ride trip from Lisbon to Porto, Portugal. The train ride is about 3 hours. There is currently a train strike but service was not severely impacted . I wanted to take a high speed train (AP) which would have gotten me into Porto 30 minutes earlier but one was not scheduled until 6 in the evening. I prefer to get in earlier so I can explore a little the day of arrival. However, my trip was only 20 minutes longer taking the Intecidades (IC) route. The train was comfortable and moderately filled with a few empty seats. Porto is the second largest city and absolutely beautiful. It has a very old world feel to it.
