Always know your worth. Control your emotions & never settle. This motto applies for everything in life. Work, friendships, love & the list goes on. I used to work at the Psych ER and I LOVED IT! I went over and beyond. 13yrs of not knowing my worth until JACO came to visit and the board came out to shake my hand & congratulated me. They saw me & and valued the system I created. Idk why it took me so long to see what they saw in me. So for the first time , I asked for a raise. The facility I worked for offered me 10 cents more …. I couldn’t believe it. It really wasn’t ever about the money really and painfully I decided to leave! I’m happy I didn’t settle. It was after I left that they realized what they had. I mean they always knew I was a hard worker & teamplayer but the position I had was one I always told them required 2-3 ppl to do and not just one person per shift. Well , guess what? Not that long after I left they realized that not 1 person did what I did and how ppl complained that they needed at least another person to help. Now the position they filled has in fact two people doing the job I once did alone. As scary as it was to leave and as sad as I was I’m proud of myself for choosing me 🫶🏽🫂✨ #selflove #knowyourworth #nevergiveup #chooseyou #selfawakening #fyp #
