My husband was just diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s (62 yrs old) and has horrible jerks all the time. To the point of slamming his head against the headboard 🥺 One of the key reasons I sought out a neurologist. They mentioned nothing about these being seizures. PET scan was performed 6/5 and now waiting on full diagnosis. The waiting is horrible. My 💜 goes out to you both and I pray for you.

Does Jeff know he’s having these jerk moments? My husband does and it bothers him. I’ve asked if it’s painful, he claims they aren’t.

I really don’t be a jerk but honestly I feel like some of the negative becomes a positive attraction to the caregivers. It’s so difficult, yes .

I’m sorry - does alcohol, or NOT having alcohol help? I’m sure it has to be the latter, but I just want to be clear…

This happens to my husband a lot recently. He has been taken a muscle relaxer and it seems to be helping. Your videos are so helpful!

Did he ever do this at night? my husband is 54. His memory is awful, small things. He jerks all night sometimes. I was thinking it was sleep apnea.
