@reptiliatus: Oophaga Frank 🌊. With the new glass frog paludarium growing in nicely the last few weeks, there’s been tons of springtails (Collembola) colonizing the substrate/leaf litter. I figured I’d take a decaying leaf covered in them out of there to offer to my Nicaraguan blue jeans poison dart frogs 🐸👖 (Oophaga pumilio) since they LOVE eating springtails! My female came out of her coconut hut to enjoy the snack but it seems that her mate was too shy this time!
