The question is not whether something is an excuse, it’s whether it’s worth the effort to break things down into good and bad reasons. Whether you think that a reason is valid or not doesn’t change the fact that it’s getting in your way. Approaching your barriers in a more neutral way will allow you to think creatively about the things you CAN change, the things you can’t, and to make more informed decisions about what you are willing to give up to pursue one path over another. You might then make the conscious choice to find a different path to the same goals! #burntoutoverachiever
