Sounds like you guys missed diagnosed it to begin with. Put an ECM in for charging that wasn't the problem. lol How much did that cost the customer?

I prefer to do a voltage dropped across the fuses to find a draw. Older vehicles that didn't have delayed sleep mode were so much easier to diag lol

I've found a lot of aftermarket units, insurance obdII readers , and aftermarket alarm systems to be at fault for a draw

If you all would have watched the first video you would have seen that this man did the RIGHT thing. Alternator is controlled by ecm on this vehicle.

just do a draw test. you pit an ecm in due to do a draw and now your looking at the ac control head and radio I the dash that will be hot for a while.

i always just used the back of my hand on all modules. always found.the problem but it had to be kind of cool outside
