Ahhh it hurt my hair watching you brush from the top 😅 starting from the bottom & working ur way up will be so much quicker & less painful 🫶🏼🙌🏼

Try putting a bun before bed I used to do that before bed so maybe try with a mid ponytail and then a bun. I hope it works.

cousin of a hairstylist here, use a rat tail comb to first loosen the tangled then gently comb through bottom to top
