That’s unreal. In Canada we have 2-4 sick days a month depending on your benefits. They accrue. Usually you have to ask your payroll how many sick

any place with 3 sick days will not count this as one and most likely don't accept dr. notes. take 5 days and have Dr. fill out short term disability

i used fmla for my flu its approved and it's also it falls to short term disability..

I miss that at the hospital. Bc I’d be sick for the three days, “one” call out but then work at the end of the week by picking up shifts

What if they wait to write you up months after the fact because you got another job (in the company) and do it 30 min your last day there….she did it to hurt me and told my new boss

Wow, 😳 the US. Here, most permanent employees are allowed 10 or 14 payed sick days/yr but only two consecutive days wo Dr note

well... I get that ur sick but seeing how ppl r willing to go to games, events, or anything special with a cold or virus without care I'm sure u can go to work with a cold without a care

So dumb. Didn’t have insurance, had to get a doctors note, and still got wrote up. Never been in trouble. Had Covid.🤬

and look at me I'm a teenager and I was working for my first job I was there for like 3 months and worked hard but then got badly sick it was horrible I was NOT in any condition of being able to work!
