Here are some of my favorite Law Roach looks styled on his muse Zendaya. I was sad to hear of his recent retirement from celebrity styling. He has transformed the careers of the celebrities with whom he has collaborated by elevating styling to genius image crafting and storytelling. He is a masterful visual communicator or, to use his terminology, "image architect." In my research, I put Law Roach in conversation with other image architects like Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, and W. E. B. Du Bois. Like them, he understands the power of transformation and thoughtful self-presentation.
