It’s great as is, but as we ease into spring I sometimes like to throw in some chopped asparagus, fresh peas or artichoke hearts to give it some seasonal flair. Full recipe below! #EasyRecipe #weeknightdinner #cookwithme #pastalimone #DinnerIdeas #KitchenHacks #ad CREAMY FETTUCCINE LIMONE 3/4 cup heavy cream 1 small lemon, zested and juiced 1 (9-oz.) package BUITONI FETTUCCINE 2 Tbsp. butter 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil Salt and freshly cracked black pepper Bring a pot of water to a boil and add a generous amount of salt. In a separate large skillet over medium heat, heat the heavy cream with lemon zest and a pinch of salt until it comes to a simmer then reduce heat to low. Cook fettuccine in boiling water for 2 minutes then transfer to the skillet with the cream, reserving at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining. Add butter one tablespoon at a time and toss until combined. Finish with Parmesan, basil, black pepper and the juice of the lemon and give it all a final toss. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan cheese.
