Y’all, I misspoke. In the ship example we’re traveling *almost* the speed of light. Forgive me for my transgressions

For the first time in my life I’ve understood how a photon works 🙏🏻

If a photon leaves the sun and takes approximately 8 minutes to get to my eye ball then isn't the photon then approximately 8 mins old?

Can there be something faster then the speed of light ?

How do we know this? It just seems like such a strange thing to know about anything, like, how was this discovered?

So you’re in a ship, with a box with a photon in it, and your traveling at the speed of light. Now you throw the box.

So the photon wouldn’t “experience” distance either? So to a photon, the universe is a point?

so moving at the speed of light feels like teleportation regardless of how far your travel? cus you dont experience the time during the journey?

Space Dandy :
As far as I understand it's not the speed of light, it's terminal velocity for the whole universe, massless photon just move with the highest speed

does it start experiencing time when absorbed? how do they have diff frequencies if they don't experience time? are they still affected by time?

It does not because it is a particle😂😂 you need consciousness to experience time 😘
