@nicksaysgo: I have a bit of a camera rotation on-hand, and what I grab just depends on my mood or where I’m shooting. All great cameras, but all very different. On the everyday tip when I wanna go manual, the Pentax k1000 is where it’s at. It’s your standard manual SLR, and I do mean manual. The only electronics you have here is a light meter to make sure your photos are exposed right, and that uses a small battery. 90% of my photos were taken with this cam. If I’m shooting at night and want flash, or know I want to run & gun, I grab the Yashica T3. Don’t sleep on point and shoots, these things are SHARP. Black and white film with flash is probably my favorite combo of all time. Last but def not least, medium format is amazing for many reasons — the photo size, the negative quality, and so much more. It’s a big boy, so not the most portable. But I’ve done editorial style shoots on this thing, and it’s a goddamn beast.
