@untoldmysteries: Mitchelle Blair (35) k*lled her two children and hid them in a deep freezer for two years. In March 2015, police arrived on the eastside of Detroit to perform an eviction at Mitchelle’s home. Mitchelle lived with her four children, but was not present at the time a crew began to remove her belongings. They eventually made their way through the home, and after opening a deep freezer they discovered two bodies inside. Stoni Ann Blair (13) and Stephen Gage Berry (9) were found dead and frozen. Police arrested Mitchelle quickly and once they began to question her she immediately confessed. Mitchelle claimed in Aug. 2012 that she discovered Stephen had been S.A. her youngest son Matthew. After he allegedly admitted to the act, Mitchelle admits she be*t and tortured Stephen for two weeks. After several days of torture, even telling police she poured hot water on his genitals, Stephen died from his injuries. In May 2013, Mitchelle then claims she found out Stoni had also allegedly S.A. Matthew. For days Mitchelle be*t and starved Stoni until she succumbed to her injuries. No one ever reported the children missing, and Mitchelle created several different stories on their whereabouts over the years. It took three days for the children's body to thaw out to perform an autopsy. Medical examiners determined the children’s bodies were in the freezer for at least two-three years. The two children died from blunt force trauma and burns to the body. In June 2015, Mitchelle pleaded guilty to first degree murder charges. Prosecutors never found any evidence of Mitchelle’s claims on the alleged S.A. towards her children. In July 2015, Mitchelle Blair was sentenced to life w/o the possibility of parole. Her two remaining children (at the time ages 17 & 8) lived with their aunt.
