we did the same when I was in Scouts, but we used paraffin wax. we used them more as fire starters than reusable stoves, that's a great idea!

That's good. I use a soup can with some toilet paper and 91% alcohol. Lasts 2 hours, cook eggs / coffee. LEGION

I’ve always called these buddy burners! Another method that will make them waterproof and last longer is to melt wax into the cardboard
