we adopted a dog from a prison program and he was the BEST dog! we got a notebook full of notes from the inmate he was with, it was sweet 🥲

Dude if the inmates get training on how to check all that. Then they need to become vet assistants or something when they get released.

Teaching empathy is the best thing to do for these guys. A lot of them probably weren’t on the receiving end of it before getting locked up.
