It’s inefficient to go down the gears sequentially, no? Isn’t it more efficient to go straight from say 4th to 2nd?

When approching roundabout do you press clutch down first to use lowes gears or break then change the gears.

I passed (Perth, Australia) in 2009 and I find these videos great! Although driving a manual is like muscle memory now. But always good to brush up.

a lot of instructors dont teach drivers to use engine braking any more. Apparently its better to use brakes than engine braking but im not convinced.

Use your brakes. Don’t change down. Brake pads are cheaper than gearboxes to replace

if you are slowing down alot. advantage of block change is you take your hand off steering wheel once instead of twice. I block from 5th to 2nd .

Try to learn in an old tractor you’ll pick it up easy and you can drive anything
