My single mother friend in Kogi was discovered D€AD in her sitting room last night. Her 15 year old pikin was found in his room. Also D€AD. The adulterated Palm-oil they consumed with boiled Yams was the last thing found in their pots and kitchen sink. At first, I argued that she must have consumed boiled cassavas that may have resulted in ¢yanide po!son!ng and maybe Yam was miscommunicated to me. I received confirmation this morning that it was indeed Yams she ate with the Palmoil. Not Cassavas. Bridget was a good follower of mine whom I loved like a daughter, supported and prayed for. My anger is that I do not have a better picture of her to share asides this photo taken of her during her last hours on earth after the news reached me and I sent people over to verify. The Yams found in her kitchen were healthy and fresh. But the remaining Palm-oil in the bottle appears to have been mixed with something like corn flour and red dye. Nigerians..... if we do not rise with one voice to demand that NAFDAC National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control begin to inspect the quality of oil distributed by Palm oil vendors, merchants and producers in Nigeria from grassroot manufacturers to tertiary retailers and sellers, half of the Nigerian population would be dealing with one form of Kidney and liver issue, as well as mysterious illnesses before 2030. I am starting the revolution tonight! I don't know how many well meaning Nigerians can join me. We must hold NAFDAC accountable to protect us! Dangerous chemicals are mixed in our Palm-oil in major markets and sold to us and it is drastically cutting our lives short. 7 out of every 10 bottles of Palm-oil sold in Nigeria are NOT pure. This is not cruise. This is we fighting for our lives. My friend, Bridget was only 32 years. And today she and her son are but memories. If this post pops on your feed, please share and tag NAFDAC aggressively. Nigerians deserve healthy unadulterated Palm-oil!!! If I must start visiting markets and warehouses where these things are mixed to draw the attention of the authorities, I will do it, starting from Mile 12 market in Lagos!!! Anyone who has information about traders who mix corn flour, condemned oil and red dye in their Palm-oil to sell to the public for profit, PLEASE send me a DM!!! I will take it up!!!!!!!
