@sarah4texas: Update for those who have been following since the beginning… there is a reason Big Daddy didn’t want me to see him pumping cement in the cellar lf this well. And that Chevron tried to dump the liability on smaller operators. This will cost at least $1-2 million per well to properly plug and abandon. That doesn’t account for remediating our drinking water and freshwater aquifers. We have 270+/- plugged wells on this 22,000 acres alone. One by one I’m digging them up and proving my points. Maybe some of y’all should have paid attention earlier. The railroad commission knew about this as well - and apparently OK’d this top job. Meanwhile TXOGA is lobbying for HB 5547, which would basically insulate operators from the legal repurcussions of failing to keep CO2 sequestered. Landowners are left bent over without lube. But watch - they’ll get angrier over my anal sex innuendo than the literal raping of the land. #zombiewells #cvxblowout #txoga #firechristi #txl#txlegelandgas
