@lasernonna: No boil lasagna… 1 pound ground beef (optional) 1 box NO BOIL LASAGNA PASTA 32 oz whole milk ricotta 1 egg Basil (or chopped parsley) 1 cup high quality Romano cheese 2 cups mozzarella 24 oz jar spaghetti sauce plus more to top with when done. If using meat…brown meat and drain fat. Add sauce and basil then simmer a few minutes. If not using meat…go straight to the steps below. You can use all the ingredients right out of the fridge! In a large bowl, mix ricotta, egg, basil, grated cheese, and mozzarella. I use a 16 x 4 pan. The pan is available in my bio. If you don’t have a 16 x 4 pan, be sure to allow for pasta measurements as you’re going to use the noodles right from the box uncooked. If using a larger pan you can double the recipe. You just want to make sure you have at least 4 layers of pasta so your lasagna is nice and high. You can snap the noodles to fit. Don’t worry because they grow as they cook and will fill any gaps you may have missed. Layer as follows… START with meat or meatless sauce Pasta Ricotta mix Sauce Pasta Ricotta mix Continue until you have at least 4 layers Tightly cover with foil and bake at 350 for one hour or until the pasta is fork tender. Cool, cut, and serve. When using a 16 x 4 you can flip it out of the pan and cut into squares.
