I love this! That’s my only issue with my GSD. She loves to try to eat out of the trash but only does it when she knows I’m not looking.

My dogs wont do it if they know I’m home but if I’m gone completely at work, etc they will get into trash. How would you help prevent this? Or train?

My dog never goes after trash or raids the counter when we are around. Doesn't attempt. If I leave him, then he will. He gets crated now when I leave
