Baking soda mixed in really helps the smell and mine are okay with it. A bit of fabric softener and water on baseboards helps with the hair sticking.

Also I had the litter robot a few years ago (I think it was the 3rd version? There’s a newer one now) & it was nooot made for multiple cats. 1/2
