Defendant’s family is in dire financial straits. If parents and sisters were smart, they would release their own book or schedule media stints with information they gather from ongoing conversations with him. They should agree to wire tap calls with him. If it can work to give the victims’ families any closure, they can garner some respect from the world and maybe some financial gain from it. You’ve lost your son… you need to think differently now to survive.

If his family members live in a fire at will state, there doesn’t need to be a reason and the company is covered. I would assume certain businesses don’t want that type of attention. It’s unfortunate because they didn’t do anything

If the parents are retired , and were retired already prior to there son committing the crimes , how would what he did effect there situation if there already on a fixed income, and as to other family members losing there jobs because of something there brother did , well they should get a lawyer , because even in Pa that’s illegal , it’s actually specifically illegal to do so , called family Member involvement in legal proceedings . On another note , if it’s only the sister that was affected by this job loss , she is entitled to unemployment & medical benefits , as legal proceedings are unfolding at her old job she was let go from , a legal name change for them all , would definitely be a road they would want to go down , as any judge would grant there request no doubt . As to not make it so innnerpersonal , they could choose to go by there mothers maiden names & or there grandmothers maiden name . To keep some form of family name. The cross the kohberger family has to bear be it not a pleasant one & for sure it’s a burden & heartbreak on them , the cross the family’s of the kids there son murdered is far far far worse then any cross the Kohbergers will bear . Far worse for sure . The kohbergers may want to come together as a family , maybe sell whatever property they have & relocate to one single property, the daughters moving back with mom & dad & they can all help each other to get back on there feet & work through what understandable is a horrific time in there lives . That makes the most sense , yea it suck to move , and it might suck for the sisters selling there homes if they have one , and changing there names , but this will all bond them together & help there healing process, and take some financial burden from them , they don’t have to leave pa , but they can move to another city pa is pretty big & with a new sur name , a new home & new neighborhood they can blend rite in & start over , there are bro bono lawyers out there & advocates that can help them with there filing of paper work , the sisters can look for new jobs , with fresh starts , & help mom & dad heal . I cannot imagine what it wld feel like for parents to have such an evil child 😔
