@lawandcrime: The Kenosha County K9 officer shot in the head by an accused killer got to meet jurors in the suspect’s trial. K9 Riggs was shot just above his temple while police were trying to apprehend defendant Allan Brown back in October 2021. Brown is accused of killing two strangers in Illinois, stealing one of the victim’s cars, driving it to Wisconsin, and then getting in a shootout with police when they tried to arrest him. K9 Riggs miraculously recovered and was back on the force a few weeks later.
