It comes out true to color and you don’t have to rinse or heat set it. There’s no guesswork like there is with dyeing

Huh. I always just clipped them to a box fan so it dries quicker. I had a drop cloth under for drips.

You can also add paint in spray form (not spray paint), it gives visual texture and thickens it, it’s how I did all my Phantom of the Opera drapes
