@the_bauer_boy: The mercedes T80. Aka the world record car. The project started in 1937. From 1937-1938 the target speed to reach was 600kmh or 373 mph. But in 1939 they realized it could achieve speeds upwards of 750kmh or 465 mph. It had 3000hp, 6 wheels, using the back four wheels for power and had a 44.5L v12 aircraft engine. It wieghed just over 6300 pounds and was a fully steel body. They were supposed to test it in early 1940, on what we call now the autobahn. But then the war started just before then and the test run was canceled. To this day it still has never been tested to see its full capability.
