Emmanuel Kwame Adoku :
Shatta Wale is one of the few artists who has gone through different phases, criticism, battles, and rejection, yet still remained standing from the days of Bandana till becoming Shatta Wale. Many of the things he fought against were not only for himself but also for the growth and benefit of the industry and the people within it. Sadly, sometimes the same people you sacrifice for may still misunderstand, criticize, or shame you because they cannot see the bigger picture immediately. This is similar to how Jesus Christ was treated. Jesus Christ came to save, heal, and give life to humanity, yet many rejected, mocked, and crucified Him without recognizing that what He was doing was for their own good. As the scripture says: “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” — John 1:11 And also: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” — Luke 23:34 Sometimes people fight against those who are trying to help them simply because they do not yet understand their purpose. That is why we must continue doing what is right regardless of criticism, because in time truth and impact will speak for themselves. Jesus Christ Himself remained focused on His assignment despite rejection, and through that sacrifice many received life.
