This movie isn't a bad movie, people just hate it because it's inaccurate to the books. I just see this as a separate fantasy film that coincidentally shares the title of Eragon

From a point of view of having never read the book then this was amazing, once reading the book I was like “I would be so disappointed in this movie” but I still love it.
