@leanne_and_the_frogdogs: Skater down! 😢 ive broken my ankle 🤦‍♀️ Maybe starting skating again wasn’t such a good idea after all. Im absolutely gutted. Skating made me smile, it was my me time and it made me feel amazing. I got my boots locked together by the wheels somehow and couldn’t get them apart. I fell backwards and landed with my butt on my feet. My left foot ended up pointing outwards and up my leg! So last night i had to be sedated and it was put back into position, thankfully that was successful and i didnt have to have an op to fit a cage to stablilise it for 10 days. Now they can operate and fit the metal work later this week. Thankfully im not in too much pain, but im up to my eye balls in meds. My pride is hurting alot and im heart broken at what i have potentially lost in my hobby 💔
