@organized.finance: After taxes and deductions, my take-home pay looks a lot different 😨 These numbers are just for Q1, and just for my 9-5 job as a software engineer. It seems like a lot, but it's not actually so bad once you break it down! 💸 $9,325 of my gross pay went toward taxes 💸 $3,743 went towards pre-tax deductions (my 401k and my HSA) 💸 $4,717 went toward post-tax deductions (my Roth 401k) My pre-tax and post-tax deductions are going toward my own assets & my own net worth!
